This uplifting documentary wowed audiences at Doc/Fest 2017. Prepare to be inspired and uplifted by warmth, resilience and fabulous moves from these young women.

In inner city Baltimore, an all-girls high school step dance team is chasing their ultimate dream: to win a step championship and to be accepted into college. Many will be the first in their family to attend. Emotionally inspiring, Step embodies the true meaning of sisterhood through a story of courageous young women worth cheering for.

On Saturday 26th August, we'll be clearing out the café area after the film for a fun, free Step dance workshop with Sheffield's own Stepz Dance Academy! Space is limited so make sure to book your spot with our box office (all ages welcome, wear comfortable clothes & shoes you can stomp in!).
