World of Wong Kar-Wai: Introductory Talk + The Hand 15
Ahead of our 7-week retrospective of restored Wong Kar-Wai, we have invited Film Studies lecturer and East Asian Cinema specialist Dr. Chi-Yun Shin to introduce the season. Using a range of illustrations, Dr Shin will be taking us on a thematic journey through the collection, offering insights into the director's whole catalogue.
A great opportunity to scope out where to start if you’re unfamiliar with the films, or a chance to deep dive into old favourites if you’re already a fan.
