The Killing of a Sacred Deer 15
Yorgos Lanthimos – a pioneer of bizarre contemporary Greek cinema broke out in 2009 with Dogtooth, before shocking international audiences with The Lobster. Here, he re-joins with Colin Farrell in the chilling, breath-taking The Killing of a Sacred Deer.
Farrell seems to be have everything going for him - a respected surgeon with an equally successful ophthalmologist wife (played excellently by Cannes favourite, Nicole Kidman) - until finds himself befriended by a mysterious young boy called Martin. Martin’s has sinister motives for getting to know the family, but the family has some dark and sinister secrets themselves.
