The Last Bus 12A
The Last Bus is a soft-hearted film, a gentle story of the journey’s – both physical and emotional – that we take in times of grief.
Tom’s (Timothy Spall) wife Mary (Phyllis Logan) has passed away after years of marriage. In order to take her home, he begins the nostalgic trip across country, from John O’Groats, to where they first met, all the way down in West Country. With his wife’s ashes in a small brown suitcase, Tom makes the best of his free bus pass, and sets off on his cross-country pilgrimage.
