This heartfelt, semi-autobiographical drama offers a deeply honest exploration of masculinity, identity and Britishness through the eyes of a black teenager.

Femi, a British boy of Nigerian heritage has a happy childhood growing up in foster care in rural Lincolnshire. When his birth mother is ready to take him back, he is taken to a deprived area of inner-city London - a harsh cultural shift for the young boy. As Femi journeys through his teens, he grapples with his own identity, finding out what it means to be a young black man in London during the early 00s, he must decide which path to adulthood he will take.

THE LAST TREE contains a sequence of flashing lights which might affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
