Acclaimed animator Masaaki Yuasa directs Tomihiko Morimi’s novel “The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl”. As ‘The Girl with Black Hair’ parties on the streets of Kyoto, she is followed by ‘Senpai’, a man desperately seeking her affection. But the girl is far more concerned with drinking and partying than romance to notice all of Senpai’s ‘coincidental’ meetings. The Night is Short, Walk on Girl is an exciting whirlwind of a film, brimming with booze, books and wonderfully eccentric characters.
