After being recently released from prison for murder, Misumi
finds himself back in the courts, accused of bludgeoning a man to death. If
found guilty, he will likely face the death penalty. With little evidence to
convict him, his lawyer, Shigemori, is confident the sentence could be reduced.
However, there is one problem… Misumi has confessed to the crime.
As Shigemori learns more about the case through testimonies
from the victim’s family - and his own client’s slippery confession that twists
and changes when pressed to explain his actions - he begins to suspect his
client might not be guilty after all…
The Third Murder is a brilliant mystery crafted by one of
the world’s leading directors.
