The Tower PG
The Tower directed by Mats Grorud is an animated feature based on interviews with Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. Wardi (Pauline Ziade) lives in a Palestinian refugee camp where she was born with her family. One day her grandfather Sidi (Said Amadis) hands her his key to his old house back in Galilee, she fears he may have lost hope of someday going home. As she searches for Sidi’s lost hope around the camp, Wardi will collect her families’ testimonies, from one generation to the next. Winner of the Chicago international Children’s Festival.
