Following a devastating nuclear attack on New York City, which destroys everything above ground, eight strangers hole up in the fortified basement of a building. As cabin fever sets in, the building’s superintendent (Michael Biehn) struggles to maintain order among the group, who soon find that= the horrors inside their makeshift bunker are as much of a threat as those outside.
