Relaxed Screening: The NeverEnding Story (40th Anniversary) U
On his way to school, Bastian (Barret Oliver) ducks into a bookstore to avoid bullies. Sneaking away with a book called "The Neverending Story," Bastian begins reading it in the school attic.
The novel is about Fantasia, a fantasy land threatened by "The Nothing," a darkness that destroys everything it touches. The kingdom needs the help of a human child to survive. When Bastian reads a description of himself in the book, he begins to wonder if Fantasia is real and needs him to survive.
See the beloved 1980’s fantasy classic as it returns to the big screen for it’s 40th anniversary.
Showroom Cinema has introduced new Autism Friendly relaxed screenings for 2024. On Saturday mornings, our Family Time strand offers family friendly relaxed screenings. These will now be followed by a relaxed screening every Saturday. Our screenings have no adverts or trailers and offer unallocated seating, large screen space for movement, reduced film sound volume and low lighting during the film.
