The line-up for June's event...
Gina Jenkinson
‘Cheerfully dark anecdotes delivered with effortless charm and laced with inventive imagery and unexpectedly potent punchlines. Gina’s a worthy addition to any line-up of venerated mirth-merchants’ – Spotlight Comedy
Jack Gleadow
Hull Comedian Of The Year 2013, Jack is quickly becoming one of comedy’s hot talents entertaining audiences all around the country, with a quickfire wit, hilarious one liners and off the wall improvisations. He spent his younger years as an International Comedy Magician winning UK and International Comedy and Magic Awards. But now he has ditched the wand for the mic.
Russ Cutts
Sheffield fella Russ is a conversational and charismatic purveyor of tales from his madcap family life as a devoted husband and father of three adorable devil children. A natural stage presence, he hilariously recounts his daily struggles with familial bliss for your amusement.
Ashley Butterfield
‘Engaging banter and intelligent delivery from a very promising performer’ – bbc.co.uk. Wide-eyed post-student twentysomething angst with wonderful wordplay.
Billy Lowther
A one-liner machine gun, Billy is incredibly smart and will have you laughing more per minute than most other comedians. He is a plus-sized comedian who is based in Hull with his collection of vivid shirts.
Louise Tinniswood
Blondish, smallish, boyish, geordieish. Louise is dazed and generally confused by life.
Karl Davis
A writer, stand up comedian, train driver and trade union activist. Quite the Renaissance man.
