"We are the last generation who can stop the war against our earth".
Rams, Of Horses and Men, Under the Tree…Iceland has been leading the way with top-quality
dark comedy-dramas. Woman at War is
the next in line, with a story about a passionate environmental activist who wages
a one-woman-war on destructive big-money industries.
On the surface, Halla leads a quiet and routine existence. But her happy
exterior hides a secret double life, which sees her taking to the countryside
to take down offenders.
But just as she begins to plan her most ambitious operation yet, and as the government attempts to discredit her, she receives unexpected news that is set to change her life. Halla is forced to choose between her environmental crusade and the chance of fulfilling another, more personal dream.
