Eye On Films: Audience Vote Winner Announced!

Eye On Films

The Showroom recently screened a season of films from new directors in association with a new initiative called Eye On Films.

Eye On Films aims to promote new filmmaking talent by bringing the work of first time directors to cinema screens, offering audiences a unique opportunity to view films made all over the world.

The four films in the Showroom’s Eye On Films season were:

The Mole - A Polish thriller about a young man who discovers his father has been branded a “traitor”.

Red Heart - A love story about two teenagers forced to go on the run in order to stay together.

Mourning – An Iranian film about the tragic journey of a quarrelling couple.

Night #1 – A bold Canadian film offering an intimate study of a one-night stand.

Showroom audiences were asked to give the film a score out of five after each screening.

The film with the highest vote from the Showroom was… The Mole!

Thank you to everybody who attended the season and voted for the films.
