A second session of Family Friendly films every generation of adventurers can enjoy.

  1. The Trail Camera 3 minutes

Bolehills BMX track, built in Bolehills park in Walkley, Sheffield, has been home to wildlife since its construction, back in 1983. Using state of the art cameras, we were able to record the flora, fauna and funga of the local area in a way that didn't disturb the delicate ecosystem. Working closely with the dig crew at the track, we gained exclusive access to the habitats and behaviours of the local animals that we haven't had the privilege of seeing before. Enjoy the findings of our research and visit the track when you can. As well as being a home to some exciting native species, its really rad to ride a bike around! 2. Drawn 4 minutes

Explore the world of athlete and artist Bo Schwarz as he merges mountain biking and art in breathtaking alpine landscapes. In this new film by director Tristan Hobson, Bo’s journey unfolds as he transforms trails into his canvas. The seamless rhythm between rider and nature captivates the senses, a symphony of gracefully carved berms, time-suspended jumps, and a flowing harmony of nature and art.

  3. Egoland 20 minutes

Marek Molek and Bruno Grassi are on the verge of reaching the summit of The Great Troll, the last and most difficult unclimbed mountain. A heavy storm, exhaustion and adverse snow conditions prevent them from actually reaching the summit, which is very near. Bruno and Marek argue about whether or not they should tell the truth. During the hazardous descent, one of them will attempt to persuade the other one by any means. In the meantime, Mike Bacon, the special correspondent covering the news, is unable to get in touch with them and is waiting anxiously at base camp.

  4. Nebulae 4 minutes

With most touring films focusing on big missions and/or difficult to access, gnarly terrain, Nebulae focuses on local options and 'good vibes' terrain and riding that the average rider can visualize accessing and riding, even if they are not at the level to ride all the terrain depicted. All terrain in Nebulae is within 15 minute drive of Revelstoke.

  5. Sliding 4 minutes

On a beautiful, blue-bird winter day in the Swiss Alps, a female athlete listens to the weather report over her morning coffee. After contemplating hitting the ski slopes with the other outdoor enthusiasts, she has an idea... she will go sledding instead. She digs her sled out from the back of the gear room and heads to the top of the mountain, where she is alone on top of the world. Picturesque mountains and the sounds of nature surround her. She drops in on her sled, headfirst.

  6. Riding Wild 4 minutes

Riding Wild is a short film with marathon mountain bike racer Daphne Jones, sharing her views on women in the sport, mental health and benefits of spending time outdoors. I feel really good about sharing this film and shooting something closer to home really help me re-connected with my surroundings, especially after long-term travelling and shooting abroad. I'm really enjoying shooting in this moody British weather on the Long Mynd in Shropshire. Another significant learning experience came from shooting this film, demonstrating what I can accomplish independently. I'm proud to say that I was responsible for every aspect of its creation. This Shropshire based short documentary features cross country marathon mountain bike racer Daphne Jones, talking about racing, riding, community and women in the sport.

  7. 4DWN 17 minutes

4DWN tells the unconventional, and deeply personal story of a South Dallas skatepark whose mission is to change the lives of everyone that walks through the gate. The 4DWN skatepark is a resilience hub rooted in skate culture tackling head on the challenges of food insecurity and social justice in one of the city’s poorest communities. 4DWN is at once punk, irreverent, and authentic. But it’s also organic, nurturing, and profound. The magic of this skatepark-turned-urban farm is brought to life through a beautiful, intimate mixed media approach that pays homage to the canon of skate films that came before it. 4DWN chronicles the lives, both past and present, of the Park’s founders, as well as one budding young skateboarder who finds kinship, camaraderie, and a reason to keep pushing.
