Family Time: Young Hearts (Preview) 12A
This February, we are excited to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with a special preview of Young Hearts, a brand-new Belgian/Dutch coming-of-age film which explores crushes and first love between two young boys.
Elias (13) feels attracted to his new neighbour Alexander (14). Soon he realises that he's truly in love for the first time. The interactions with his friends and family bring more questions than answers. Confused by his burgeoning feelings, Elias tries to sort out his inner chaos to prove that he is worth Alexander’s heart.
Young Hearts has not yet been rated by the BBFC, but we advise this screening will be suitable for those aged 12+ due to infrequent strong language and mature themes. For fans of Heartstopper, Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret, and Love, Simon.
Family Time screenings are relaxed and feature subtitles and low-level lighting for accessibility and comfort for all. All tickets are £5. Please find more information about Family Time here.
