Born to Be Blue 15
Ethan Hawke produced one of the performances of his career as Chet Baker. This semi-fictional portrayal of the American jazz musician riffs on the legendary performer’s life, adding new stories to the legend of the man famed for his drug habit.
In the film, Baker is hired to play himself in a movie about his early years when he first tries heroin. This reimagining of Baker’s life sees a romance blossom between him and the enigmatic Jane (Carmen Ejogo), but not all is well as Baker’s past comes back to haunt him.
