This screening is designed for those over 15 to celebrate their love of Wallace and Gromit. To share the film with the under 15’s in your life, please come along to our Family Time screening of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit at 11am.

Selected by the Showroom Young Programmers, this cracking screening will be accompanied by an introduction and an opportunity to WIN cheesy prizes with a quiz hosted by Wallace & Gromit superfan, comedian and internet personality Luke Poulton (AKA Veganluke)!

Cheese loving inventor Wallace and his loyal sidekick Gromit’s latest business ‘Anti-Pesto’ sets out to manage the village’s growing rabbit problem. With gardens being sabotaged and Lady Tottington’s annual Giant Vegetable Competition looming, they’re tasked with digging-up the mystery behind what savage beast has been keeping the town on a garden fork edge, but can our favourite duo save the day?

The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is Wallace and Gromit’s first and only big-screen feature film to date, which celebrates its 20th anniversary next year, and was a critical and commercial success, winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film and a BAFTA for Outstanding British Film. It’s a film as fun-filled and humorous as their other adventures and with a whole new cast of madcap characters to enjoy, it’s a true Nick Park led Aardman classic!

With a growing love for these two beloved Claymation characters over the past couple of years, especially with young adults who may not have seen the film in cinema’s when it was first released, we felt it was time to bring back the dynamic duo to the big screen.

For many it’s the love of the characters and escapades they get up to and will no doubt be a nostalgic trip to meet old friends or to pick up on the jokes that they might have flown right over their heads as kids, and with the excitement of a new film coming soon, we wanted to show some love and celebrate our favourite cheese-loving Wallace and his silent but loyal sidekick Gromit!
