A unique VIP experience, our private hire cinema can seat up to 83 people, but if your party is bigger, just let us know and we can look at one of our larger screening rooms for your celebration. Our in-house catering team will be able to provide a special party menu for your guests to pre-order if you are looking to extend your celebration with food before or after your screening in our Café Bar. There is also the option to hire our private bar and dining space next door to your screening room.

Whatever the celebration, our 1930s building in the heart of Sheffield City centre will be sure to make your day a memorable occasion.

Timescales: Bookings must be made with a minimum of two months’ notice to ensure cinema space is secured. We will do our very best to secure your first-choice film. If this is not possible, your second-choice film will be requested.

A Desert Island Film Screening is the perfect way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion on a day and time that suits you and your party.

Each booking will receive 40 tickets for you to share with your selected guests. If you would like more tickets, these can be purchased at a discounted rate, and all seats will be reserved for you and your party in your chosen part of the cinema. The remaining tickets will go on sale on Showroom Cinema’s website to allow our regular audience the chance to catch a classic they may love just as much as you. We will dedicate the film to you on our website with a couple of lines on what makes the film so special to you. This dedication will also appear on the screen before your film plays and you can even say a few words as an introduction before the lights go down.

If you’re looking to really celebrate, our in-house catering team can provide you with delicious food and drink before or after your screening, just let us know on the booking form if you would like more information.

The price per screening is £400 and includes up to 40 cinema tickets and your choice of film. Additional adult tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of £7.50 per ticket. Five slots are available each day to ensure you can book a time and date that suits you: morning, lunchtime, matinee, early evening and night-time screenings. Please make sure you select your preferred time and date on the Desert Island Booking form.

Watch your child’s favourite film with all their friends on the big screen with our private children’s birthday screenings. Create a memorable party experience for that extra special celebration with sole use of one of our cinemas. Each booking will receive up to 40 children’s tickets and 40 kids combo deals (small popcorn and drink) for each of your party pals. 10 adult tickets (no combo deal) are also included in the package for family members and parents who want to join the fun. If you would like more tickets, these can be purchased at a discounted rate.

Our in-house catering team will be able to provide a special pizza party menu for you to pre-order if you are looking to extend your celebration with food after your screening through discounted hire of our private dining space next door to your screening room.

Booking: Private children’s party screenings are only available on Saturday mornings. If you prefer another day, please contact the conference and events team. The price per screening is £300 and includes your choice of film and up to 40 children’s cinema tickets with a kid’s combo (small popcorn and drink) for each child. 10 free adult tickets are included, and additional tickets can be purchased (£7.50 per ticket for adults and £7.50 for children’s tickets, which includes the kid’s combo deal).

Our pre-booked Children’s Pizza Party Package allows you to reserve seats for all your party guests in your chosen part of the cinema. Each party pal will receive a kids combo (small popcorn and drink) to enjoy during the film. After the screening your party will move to our Café Bar for a pizza buffet with unlimited juice.

Booking: Children’s Party Screening Packages are available every Saturday morning at 11am. The price per child is £22 and includes a cinema ticket with a kid’s combo (small popcorn and drink) and a pizza buffet. Children must be accompanied by an adult buying a regular Family Time ticket at £5. Bookings of 20 children or more will be upgraded to our private café for their pizza buffet after the film screening.
