Have you ever made a joke on Twitter that accidently came out wrong and as a consequence you have been torn apart by a crazy mob? Have you ever been part of a crazy mob tearing someone apart for telling a joke on Twitter that came out wrong? Have you ever committed a workplace transgression and now you’ve got the terrible feeling that someone is onto you? Jon Ronson has. Actually Jon Ronson hasn’t. Just kidding. Jon Ronson hasn’t done anything wrong. However, he’s spent the past three years with people who have – documenting the destruction close up. And now he’s ready to tell the tale.

Simultaneously hilarious and powerful in the way only Jon can be, An Evening of Public Shaming with Jon Ronson is an illustrated one-man show about the renaissance of public shaming, and our very scary part in it. It’s a follow-up to Jon’s wildly successful book The Psychopath Test, although this time around the crazy people are us. It’s a story about how we’ve become soldiers in a war on human nature and its flaws - and how there’s been an escalation in hostilities.

The show will coincide with the publication of Jon’s new nonfiction book – So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed (published March 2015).
