Kevin Macdonald is an Academy Award and BAFTA-winning filmmaker whose works include One Day in September, Touching the Void and The Last King of Scotland. In this session Stuart Cosgrove interviews Kevin to discuss his most recent project Life in a Day; a unique documentary experiment assembled from a myriad of user-generated content to create a feature length time capsule of what it was like to be alive on 24 July 2010. The film will launch at Sundance 2011. Come see where the edit is at and hear what inspired Kevin to tackle the largest crowd-sourced film ever made.
