La Ronde PG
A screening in memory of Dr. Clifford Shaw. La Ronde is a hypnotic French film made up of a series of vignettes following the romantic entanglements of a cast of eccentric characters, each becoming involved with the next in a daisy-chain of intrigue and desire. An omniscient narrator presides over the merry-go-round of hearts won and lost in this 1950 adaptation of the play by Arthur Schnitzler.
