House of Tolerance(18): L'Apollonide (Souvenirs de la maison close); In Subtitled; This evocative depiction of a Paris brothel at the end of the Belle Époque in 1900 turns the viewer into a voyeur in a secretive closed world, simultaneously decadent and dangerous.

Coriolanus(15): Ralph Fiennes’ directorial debut retains Shakespeare’s language, but reimagines the story as a tense political thriller, tackling timeless themes of power, manipulation and prejudice.
