Silent Running PG
In a post-apocalyptic world, the last of Earth’s ecosystem exists in a large pod on a spacecraft. Tension begins to rise on board the ship when the crew receive word that they are to destroy the pod and return home. Botanist Freeman Lowell has other plans and will stop at nothing to preserve the forest he has grown to love.
Professor Rob Freckleton of the department of Animal and Plant Sciences at the University of Sheffield will be doing an introduction before the film.
