Comic book artist Josh Baker (Eric Roberts) meets Cheryl (Janine Turner) on the streets of New York: love at first sight. When she suddenly collapses, an ambulance comes to her aid. But then Cheryl never makes it to the hospital, and Josh learns that she isn’t the only one to have been kidnapped. When the police refuse to take him seriously, Baker tracks the mysterious ambulance on his own. Cohen’s scathing portrait of the American healthcare system.
