While driving in the middle of nowhere, Charlotte picks up Max, a hitchhiker. After pulling in at a truck stop, Max mysteriously disappears and Charlotte ends up at the mercy of maniacal bartender La Spack, a fiercely maternal psychopath who needs to provide for her “kids” – a pack of blood lusting ghouls for whom Charlotte is the main course.
