We will discuss how the film raises questions about the nature and value of gender rules, with reference to de Beauvoir'sThe Second Sex.
Part of Philosophy at the Showroom, probing the philosophical questions raised by some of cinema’s most intriguing films. Each film will be introduced by a philosopher from the University of Sheffield, and followed by a group discussion of the philosophical problems it confronts.
