Based on Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Ubervilles, Trishna is a beautifully shot, classic tale of love and tragedy set in modern day rural Rajasthan. Trishna meets a wealthy young British businessman, Jay Singh, and they fall in love. Despite their feelings for each other, their relationship must remain a secret, until Jay takes Trishna to an exciting new world, the thriving metropolis of Mumbai. But Trishna harbours a dark secret that threatens their love affair.
Please note: the screening on Monday 19 March is a Kino Bambino parent and baby screening
