Films in 35mm
Appreciate the art and skill of traditional projection by catching a screening on 35mm.
Here at the Showroom, we treasure that we can do our bit to preserve film and cinema history by having the ability to show films on 35mm. The move to digital technology in the early 2000s means that most titles released now are received as digital cinema packages (DCPs), however, some filmmakers still value shooting and screening on physical print. There are also rare classics – although increasingly digitised – that we're desperate to show but still only exist on well-worn 35mm. It's only thanks to our skilled, cinema-loving team of projectionists, that these films can be seen on the big screen and enjoyed by audiences.
Check out the films we have coming up on 35mm below, and support this rare format on the big screen.
