Assist us with the curation of our film programme at Showroom Cinema. For ages 18-25. The deadline for applications is Monday 6 January 2025.

Showroom Cinema's Young Programmers work with all us year round to put on their own events and screenings. A slightly wider cohort, ages 18-25, this is a great opportunity to help to develop a diverse cinema programme, get exclusive access to new releases and host takeover screenings to exhibit your film of choice.

As part of Showroom Cinema Young Programmers you will:

• Host takeover screenings of your favourite films

• Get free tickets, year round, with +1 per week to treat your friends

• Curate talks and special wraparound events to promote your screenings

• Learn from in-house programmers, marketers and promoters, and take your first step into the film industry

The group will meet twice a month, between February and June 2025, from 6.00pm - 7.30pm, at Showroom Cinema in Sheffield city centre.

This course is free to join, and applicants must be able to meet in Showroom Cinema, Sheffield twice a month. Bursaries for travel and childcare are also available if you require assistance with these costs.
