At Showroom Cinema, we’re committed to making independent film accessible, welcoming, and affordable — and we’ve proudly done so for over 30 years. We know that for many of you, a trip to the cinema isn’t just about seeing a film — it’s about community, culture, and connection.

That’s why we want to be upfront and transparent about some upcoming changes to our pricing.

What’s Changing

From 1st May 2025, our ticket prices will be increasing slightly across all categories. This is the first major review of our pricing in several years, and it reflects the rising costs of running a venue like ours — from staffing and utilities to film licensing and building maintenance.

Here’s what our new prices will look like:

• Adult: Peak - £12 / Off Peak - £10
• Concession: Peak - £10 / Off Peak - £8
• CINE26: Any time - £6
• Child: Any time - £6
• Family: Any time - £27.50
• Family Time: Any time - £6
• Early Doors: £9.00
• Baby Kino: £10.50 (Full Price) /  £8.50 (Concession)
• Stage on Screen: £19 (Adult) /  £12.50 (Under 18)

We’ll be honouring April’s pricing until the end of the month, so there’s still time to enjoy current rates before the change takes effect. 

Why Now? 

We’ve done everything we can to delay this decision. But as an independent cinema and a registered charity, we don’t have the backing of a large chain — we rely on ticket sales, memberships, and your support to survive. 

Raising prices — even slightly — helps us: 

• Pay fair wages to our brilliant staff 

• Maintain our historic building and screening equipment 

• Continue offering discounted access for young people and concession groups 

• Keep hosting community screenings, special events, and film festivals 

• Invest in local outreach and educational programmes 

New Memberships = More Value 

If you're a regular visitor, our new membership packages launching on 2nd May will help you save even more.
