Dementia-Friendly Screenings
Showroom Cinema is proud to be a recognised dementia-friendly organisation, working in association with The Alzheimer’s Society, offering a regular dementia-friendly screening on the last Tuesday of each month. Tickets just £5.
From musicals to comedies, golden-age classics to brand-new hits, we screen films in an accessible environment designed to suit the needs of people living with dementia, their friends, families and carers.
Working with the Alzheimer’s Society, Showroom Cinema designed a programme of films and visits that are friendly, accessible, and dignified for people living with dementia. Showroom staff, who have taken on the ‘Dementia Friends’ initiative, will be on hand to aid and assist, and increased signage will make the cinema easier for audiences to navigate independently.

Everyone is welcome, including friends, loved ones, families and carers. Screenings are open to all members of the public.
We also accept the Access Card and CEA Card. All card holders receive a free ticket for an accompanying guest.
Visitors with a ticket to our dementia-friendly screenings can also enjoy 10% discount in our Café Bar on the day of the film.
