The Beatles: Get Back - The Rooftop Concert 12A
The Beatles: Get Back – The Rooftop Concert brings the Fab Four’s unforgettable concert atop the roof of Apple Corps’ Savile Row headquarters to cinema audiences. The film is abridged version of Peter Jackson’s eight-hour, three-part documentary series which climaxes with this spectacular and historical performance. Digitally remastered by Jackson with techniques similar to those he used for his 2018 WWI documentary They Shall Not Grow Old, the series took four years to edit over sixty hours of original footage. It would follow the creative and interpersonal challenges that would eventually lead to The Beatles’ last live concert and the dissolution of the band the following year. The Beatles: Get Back – The Rooftop Concert is a rare and exciting opportunity for fans to enjoy one of the most significant performances in music history.
