Set in rural Ireland, Calm with Horses tells the story of ex-boxer, Arm (Cosmo Jarvis), who has become the feared enforcer for the drug-dealing Devers family. At the same time, Arm is desperate to be a good father to his autistic five-year-old son. Torn between these two families, Arm’s loyalties are tested when he is asked to kill for the first time.

Calm With Horses is the gripping feature debut from Nick Rowland, starring Cosmo Jarvis (Lady Macbeth) and Barry Keoghan (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Dunkirk). A taut thriller that pulls some hefty emotional punches, and lines up Nick Rowland as a real one-to-watch in contemporary British cinema.
