The Dead Don't Die 15
To celebrate the release of Jim Jarmusch’s latest horror comedy Dead Don’t Die we are bringing the undead to the cinema!
We will have real zombies roaming around the building and a Zombie cocktail offer on the bar all night long! Sheffield Film Director Theo Cane will be presenting a trailer for his upcoming post-apocalyptic action film Unit 11 before the main feature, which was shot in Sheffield over a ten year period. This will happen before the 8.35PM screening on Friday.
In the sleepy small town of Centerville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable, and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behaviours. No one quite knows why. News reports are scary and scientists are concerned. But no one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing Centerville…the dead don’t die – they rise from their graves and feast on the living! The citizens of the town must battle for their survival.
From writer-director Jim Jarmusch comes a star-studded horror comedy, featuring a cast of Jarmusch regulars. The Dead Don’t Die is a raucous, rueful and satirical glimpse at American habits and desires at the end of the world – a comically terrifying state of the nation addressed in truly original style.
