Dogman 15
In this deliciously dark tale, a humble dog-groomer finds himself spiralling into a web of violence after he becomes trapped in a poisonous friendship with a local criminal.
Set in a distant suburb of Rome, Dogman explores the same hyper-masculine criminal underworld as Garrone’s debut feature Gomorrah. Just as visceral and stylish, but with a hefty amount of heart behind it, Dogman bizarrely manages to be both gently heart-warming and dramatically gruesome.
