Family Time: Muppet Treasure Island U
This March, Family Time is celebrating all things Muppets! This week, Muppet March continues with a swashbuckling musical adventure.
Following their adventures from Hollywood to New York City and over the sea to Dickens’ London, The Muppets returned to the big screen in 1996 for another imaginative literary adaptation – this time of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island!
A young orphan joins Kermit and friends to embark on a voyage to find treasure on a remote island and go to war against ruthless pirates, including Long John Silver (played by the legendary Tim Curry).
Muppet Treasure Island is rated U, though it contains mild comic violence and sex references. For fans of The Muppet Movie, Peter Pan, and Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!
Join us for more Muppet March fun, with screenings of other Henson-hits all month long, every Saturday at 11am, including Muppets from Space and The Muppets (2011).
Family Time screenings are relaxed and feature subtitles and low-level lighting for accessibility and comfort for all. All tickets are £5. Please find more information about Family Time here.
