Doc/Nights Presents Ibiza: The Silent Movie 15
Directed by Julien Temple and with a music score curated, produced and mixed by Fatboy Slim, Ibiza: the Silent Movie tells the extraordinary 2,000-year story of dance music’s most influential, charismatic and spiritual island - without the use of dialogue.
Temple’s iconic documentary style delivers a breath-takingly immersive audio-visual experience that both informs and entertains. With a nonstop soundtrack drawn from an eclectic mix of music from different eras as well as classic Ibiza dance anthems, the film provides the definitive story of this jewel of the Mediterranean, awash with myths and legends, truths and lies, gods and monsters.
Presented by Doc/Nights, this screening will include an introduction by Alex Glen Wilson, an audio visual archivist, researcher and academic with an interest in film and music culture.
