This March, Family Time is celebrating all things Muppets! This week, Muppet March takes a detour to another cult classic created by the inimitable Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets).

Suburban teenager Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) is forced to baby-sit her baby brother and, in her frustration, wishes that the infant would be taken away. When this wish is unexpectedly granted by the magical Goblin King (David Bowie), Sarah is given only 13 hours to solve the dangerous and wonderful labyrinth which leads to Goblin Castle and rescue her brother. Left with no choice, she sets out on a dangerous adventure in a land where nothing is what it seems.

This classic 1980’s fantasy adventure, brought to life with incredible puppetry, shows the breadth of Henson’s genius beyond the more commercially successful Muppets and Sesame Street worlds.

Labyrinth is rated U, though it contains mild threat. For fans of The Dark Crystal, The NeverEnding Story, and The Princess Bride.

Join us for more Muppet March fun, with screenings of other Henson-hits all month long, every Saturday at 11am, including Muppet Treasure Island, Muppets from Space and The Muppets (2011).

Family Time screenings are relaxed and feature subtitles and low-level lighting for accessibility and comfort for all. All tickets are £5. Please find more information about Family Time here.
