Lamb 15
In Lamb, a childless couple in rural Iceland make an alarming discovery one day in their sheep barn. They soon face the consequences of defying the will of nature, after they decide to raise the infant as their own. This is a dark and atmospheric film, blending elements of horror and the folktale in a striking and unsettling debut feature from director Valdimar Jóhannsson. Lamb is led by a brilliant lead performance from Swedish actress Noomi Rapace and is being distributed by A24, the company behind films such as The Witch and Midsommar. A captivating and brilliantly strange film, Lamb is a minimalist cautionary tale of nature and parenthood.
