Misbehaviour + Q&A (Q&A Session Cancelled) 12A
In 1970, Miss World was the most-watched TV show on the planet, with over 100 million viewers. Unhappy with the way the show treated women, the newly formed Women’s Liberation Movement hatched a plan to invade the stage during the London show, interrupting the live broadcast and making history.
This uplifting, inspiring British drama has a fantastic ensemble cast, incuding Jessie Buckley (Wild Rose, Beast), Kiera Knightly (The Aftermath, Atonement), Gugu Mbathta-Raw (Farming, Belle), Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread, Ordinary Love) and Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine).
Unfortunately, due to concerns around travel and COVID-19, screenwriter Gaby Chiappe and Jenny Fortune, 1970 Miss World protester and feminist campaigner, will no longer be able to attend this screening. The screening itself will still be going ahead and tickets will remain valid as normal.
