My Favourite Films with... Pete McKee 15
Showroom Cinema is proud to welcome one of Sheffield’s best-known artists and icons, Pete McKee, for this month’s edition of My Favourite Films with...
Pete will join us live on stage to chat
about the films he loves and the role they have played in his life, and the
influence they have had on him as an artist, before introducing a special
double bill of two favourite films.
A double header of classic cinema that defined the
British Mod and Two-tone movements, 1979’s Quadrophenia and 1981’s Dance
Craze, these two classics of British cinema offer an electrifying evening
of cinema scored by and featuring The Who, Madness, The Specials, The Beat and
many more.
Tickets are priced at £20 and include entry to the live Q&A with Pete McKee and seats for both Quadrophenia and Dance Craze.
