No country for old men

The Coens' adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's bleak slice of Americana brought them back into the fold of indie respectability, and countless Oscars to boot. Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) is spiralled into a cat and mouse game with the terrifying Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), as his windfall of cash from a failed drug deal turns out to be a curse, not a blessing. A violent, mesmerizing film that stays with you long after the credits roll.
