A meditative and sweet Japanese film that celebrates
sisterhood, family and the simple beauty of everyday gestures and actions.
Three sisters meet their younger half-sister at their father’s funeral and invite
her to live with them. As their relationships blossom, the seasons change,
boyfriends come and go, and family ties are tested. A beautiful, understated
story from the masterful Hirokazu Koreeda.
