Parasite + Satellite Q&A with Director Bong Joon Ho 15
"Brilliant and deeply unsettling"
The New York Times
Bong Joon Ho (Memories of Murder, Okja, Snowpiercer) is back with a jaw-dropping, rip-roaring, pitch-black modern fairy-tale.
Meet the Park Family: the picture of aspirational wealth. And the Kim Family, rich in street smarts but not much else. When one of the Kims is presented with the opportunity to tutor the daughter of the wealthy Park family, they smell a golden opportunity.
Soon, a symbiotic relationship forms between the two families. The Kims provide "indispensable" luxury services while the Parks bankroll their entire household. When a parasitic interloper threatens the Kims' newfound comfort, a savage, underhanded battle for dominance breaks out, and things first go comically - then horribly - wrong.
