This episode of the BBC's groundbreaking series focuses on the Artic and Antarctic which contains 90% of the world's ice. A focus on the Artic reveals the affects of global warming, making it all the more difficult for Polar Bears to hunt for food as the ice melts at an alarming rate. Planet Earth Diaries looks at the danger the camera crew faced when in close proximity to the Polar Bears.
