Jimmy (Phil Daniels) hates the philistine life, especially his parents and his job in a company's mailing division. Jimmy escapes the drudgery of his postal job as a member of the Mods, a sharply dressed gang constantly at odds with their rivals, the Rockers. Being a mod is a way of life it’s their generation. When the Mods and Rockers clash in the coastal town of Brighton, England, it leads to trouble and his life starts to spiral out of control when he loses his love interest (Leslie Ash). Loosely based on The Who's 1973 rock opera of the same name.
