Showroom Community: Stories from the Pandemic PG
This documentary features a collection of stories gathered from citizens across Sheffield over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. Stories From The Pandemic offer the opportunity to celebrate the small acts of kindness, support positive change and remember those we have lost. Everyone has a story, and this film offers a unique insight into people’s lives during one of the most extraordinary events of modern times.
This screening is part of a series of events that contribute to Sheffield’s National Day of Reflection, memorialising five-years since the pandemic began.
The screening will feature an introduction from a senior figure at Sheffield City Council, and will be followed by an informal reflective discussion in the Showroom’s private Café Bar with refreshments provided.
The film was produced by Opus Films and Directed by Tim Feben, in association with Compassionate Sheffield and Sheffield City Council.
Tickets are free – book online or at Showroom Box Office.
This special screening is part of the Showroom Community strand, celebrating the values, cultures, and beliefs of Sheffield. Showroom Community screenings are welcoming to all.
