Suburbicon 15
Written by the Coen brothers shortly after the release of Blood Simple, Suburbicon takes place over a summer in the 1950s. Gardner Lodge (Matt Damon) lives with his family in the seemingly peaceful community of Suburbicon. When a black family move in next door, racist street protests and mob violence uncover the murky underbelly of the town, and Gardner is soon drawn into the mayhem that ensues.
Suburbicon is a wonderfully bizarre satire on white privilege and racism in 20th (and 21st!) century America.
