The Producers PG
A hilarious satire of the business side of Hollywood, The Producers is one of Mel Brooks' finest, as well as funniest films, featuring standout performances by Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel.
Max Bialystock (Zero Mostel) is a washed up Broadway producer forced to romance old ladies to finance his plays. When timid accountant Leo Bloom (Gene Wilder) is brought in to do his books, he reveals that under the right circumstances, a producer could make more money with a flop than a hit. In no time, the pair team up to create a sure-fire disaster, with hilarious consequences!
Screening as part of our ongoing season of Relaxed Screenings, designed for people living with dementia, their carers and anyone who prefers a more relaxed environment.
This spring/summer we're offering a collection of award winning films that can be enjoyed by everyone. Join us on the last Tuesday of every month at 12 noon to celebrate the best of cinema, new and old.
