In an international collaboration, Studio Ghibli presents this
visually captivating, richly textured, completely dialogue free film that
stands out from the animated crowd.
Stranded and alone on a desert island, a desperate man handcrafts
a boat to try and escape. Each time he sets sail, his voyage is sabotaged by a
giant red turtle. What follows is a mysterious and enchanting tale that
provides profound musings on what it means to be human, expertly crafted in
hand drawn animation.
